During my recent winter getaway to Gasthof Baeren in Holzgau, I found the perfect blend of comfort and charm nestled in the Lech Valley. The spacious rooms were a pleasure to return to after a day on the slopes, and waking up to a lavish gourmet breakfast was simply delightful. With ski buses conveniently stopping right outside the hotel, my friends and I had easy access to the famous Ski Arlberg, which truly is a winter wonderland. Dinner was a culinary journey of its own; the kitchen team outdid themselves with delectable dishes that brought us together each evening in a warm, family atmosphere. Plus, the wellness area was the cherry on top, letting us unwind among multiple sauna options-just what we needed after a long day of skiing! One minor hiccup was the wifi; it wasn't the best, but it hardly dampened our spirits. Gasthof Baeren is a delightful choice for anyone seeking a quaint escape, especially for families or those who appreciate a personal touch from staff who genuinely care about your experience. I can't wait to return!
